Arizona

Deluxe edition

A two week trip around Arizona in spring 2023 inspired the creation of this book. Setting off from San Diego, California, we arrived at Yuma, just inside the state border of Arizona. Then onto Phoenix, Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon and beyond. Arizona is a vibrant tapestry of desert vistas, towering red rocks, deep canyons, and lush forests. The 26 paintings The 26 paintings represent my first impressions of the overpowering and ancient beauty of the State. The text similarly reflects first impressions, but of the early settlers, collected in a “History of Arizona” by the historian Thomas Edwin Farish, published in 1914.
